Ron has served as pastor of Covenant since planting the church in 2003. Originally from California, he came to faith in Jesus Christ during his freshman year in college. After graduating from University of the Pacific (UOP), he served on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ for six years before sensing a call to pastoral ministry. His service to the church included ten years as an associate pastor and nine years as a senior pastor, both in nondenominational churches, before transferring into the PCA and planting Covenant. Beyond his studies at UOP, Ron graduated from International School of Theology (MA), Cole Center for Biblical Studies (MDiv), and Covenant Theological Seminary (DMin). He and his wife, Cherry, have been married since 1977. They have three children and eight grandchildren. In his spare time, Ron enjoys being with family and friends, playing golf, and reading good books.
